Bhagwant Mann holds meeting with AAP volunteers to strategize for Jalandhar West By-Elections

Today, the state CM Bhagwant Singh Mann will reach Jalandhar regarding the by-election to be held in Jalandhar West constituency of Punjab. In Jalandhar, he will hold an important meeting with the workers and leaders of the district regarding the election strategy.

Jalandhar: Today, the state CM Bhagwant Singh Mann held a meeting at a local hotel regarding the by-election to be held in Jalandhar West constituency of Punjab.

Many ministers and MLAs of the state attended the meeting, with whom CM Mann also discussed the major issues of the state and made further strategy regarding the by-election.

This meeting of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann started at around 2 pm in a hotel located at BMC Chowk. Let us tell you that voting for the by-election in the West constituency is to be held on July 10. In this meeting, it was also discussed that with which issues the leaders will go among the people, so that people vote only for the Aam Aadmi Party.

AAP started Jalandhar West Mission regarding by-election

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann told the leaders how important the by-election of Jalandhar West constituency is for him. CM Mann also started a mission regarding the by-election. Which was named Jalandhar West Mission.

CM said- I will personally monitor the election campaign

Also, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann clarified that I will personally monitor all the publicity. So that it can be told among the people how the AAP government is doing big works for the state.

In the end, CM Mann urged the people to strictly refrain from rumors like differences in the party.

Various senior leaders including MP Malvinder Singh Kang, Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhariwal, MP Meet Hayer, Punjab Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat, Minister Baljit Kaur were present in the CM’s meeting held in Jalandhar.

By-election is being held after Sheetal Angural’s resignation

Sheetal Angural joined the BJP on March 27, just before the Lok Sabha elections. After this he resigned from the post of MLA. But on May 29, Angural had decided to withdraw his resignation. On May 30, Angural wrote a letter to the Speaker to withdraw his resignation.

On June 3, the speaker had called Angural for talks on his resignation. But on May 30, Angural’s resignation was accepted. On this, Angural had talked about filing a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Interestingly, Bhagat and Angural were also in the fray in the 2022 assembly elections. Then Mohinder Bhagat was the BJP candidate and Angural was the candidate from AAP. This time the situation is reversed. Bhagat is from AAP and Angural is the BJP candidate.
