In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister recalled the historic contribution of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, saying, “On the sacred land of Sri Anandpur Sahib, the tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, created the Khalsa – a community beyond caste, color, and discrimination – gifting us a distinct identity in the world.”

He offered his best wishes to all devotees bowing at the feet of the Guru on this auspicious day, saying, “Heartfelt congratulations to all the Sangat on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas and Baisakhi.”

CM Mann also remembered the martyrs of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, saluting their supreme sacrifice. “Let us never forget the martyrdom of these great heroes. Remember them yourselves and ensure the coming generations know about their bravery and sacrifice,” he wrote.

The Chief Minister’s message echoed the significance of both spiritual pride and historic remembrance for Punjabis across the world.
