Jalandhar: CM Bhagwant Singh Mann today addressed a big public meeting in Jalandhar West constituency regarding the assembly by-election in Jalandhar, Punjab. CM Bhagwant Mann, while addressing the gathering in the evening near Abadpura, Ward No. 32, Shri Valmiki Temple, targeted the opposition fiercely.

CM Mann said that on July 10, you will not press the broom button to make us win; you will make your children and family win. CM Mann said that Surinder Kaur could not get a single sewerage lid of the constituency replaced while being the Deputy Mayor.
For the by-election in the West constituency, the Election Commission in Jalandhar has issued orders that liquor shops will be closed after 5 p.m. on July 8. After which, the said liquor shops will open on July 10 at around 7 p.m. Strict action will be taken against the violators.
