Chandigarh : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today appealed to the parents of school students to be a part of the state’s education revolution by enrolling their children in the ‘Schools of Eminence’ established by the state government.

He said that the registration process for admission has started and will continue till March 15.
Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this is a golden opportunity for parents to ensure standard education for their children by enrolling them in these schools.
The Chief Minister said that 117 ‘Schools of Eminence’ have been established in 23 districts of the state to provide standard education to children.
Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this will help in preparing the students for future competitive examinations. He said that in these schools standard education is provided to the students of class 9th to 11th.
The Chief Minister said that these schools are established on five pillars of support and capacity namely infrastructure, academics, human resource management, sports and co-curricular activities and fraternal involvement, thereby enhancing the individual aptitude and capability of the students for higher education, employability and training.
He said that no stone will be left unturned for the all-round development of the state and the day is not far when the ancient glory of Punjab will be restored. Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed hope that the time is not far when the students getting education from these schools will achieve achievements in every field across the country.
