Chandigarh : CM Bhagwant Mann has put in all his strength to win the battle of Lok Sabha elections. He has been continuously doing road shows and rallies from the last one week.
In this series, he will hold a road show in the border districts of Amritsar and Tarn Taran today. He will hold road shows at six places in both the districts. There will be no public meeting from his side today.
Let us tell you that today voting will be completed in Delhi and Haryana. After which AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal will also become active in Punjab. During this time, his focus will be on those areas where the party needs to struggle a little more.
Road shows schedule in both cities
The party’s candidate from Amritsar Lok Sabha seat is state government minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, while from Tarn Taran minister Laljit Singh Bhullar is in the fray. CM Bhagwant Mann will hold a total of 6 road shows today in Amritsar and Tarn Taran district.
First he will hold a road show at 12 noon in Raja Sansi assembly constituency of Amritsar district. After this, the road show of party candidate Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal will start at 1 pm in the assembly constituency Ajnala.
Whereas in the end he will do a road show in Majitha area, which is the stronghold of Shiromani Akali Dal. Ganeev Kaur Majithia, wife of Bikram Majithia, is currently the MLA in Majitha constituency. Whereas there is a Congress MLA from Rajasansi assembly constituency.
Whereas after this, at 3 o’clock he will do a road show in Jandiala of Halka Khadur Sahib, at four o’clock in Baba Bakala and at five in the evening in Tarn Taran.

If we talk about Lok Sabha constituencies Amritsar and Tarn Taran, then Congress had won both the constituencies in the 2019 assembly elections.
After this, in the assembly elections held in the year 2022, out of 9 assembly seats of Amritsar, AAP won 7 seats, Shiromani Akali Dal won 1 and Congress won 1. Similarly, AAP had won 7 out of 9 constituencies in Tarn Taran. Congress leader Rana Gurmeet Singh won from Kapurthala and his son Rana Gurjit Singh Azad won from Sultanpur Lodhi.
