Jalandhar: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is going to Sangrur today. He will pay tribute to Maharaja Ranjit Singh in his home district Sangrur. A state-level function is being organized. This state-level program has been organized in Badrukhan, Sangrur. Security arrangements have been tightened there before the arrival of the CM.

On the previous day, CM Mann had posted on his social media account paying tribute to Maharaja Ranjit Singh. He had said – Millions of salutes to Sher-e-Punjab, great warrior and secular personality Maharaja Ranjit Singh ji on his death anniversary.

He said that Maharaja Ranjit Singh will be remembered till the end as a great Sikh ruler who laid the foundation of a vast and prosperous state.

CM will arrive after 11 o’clock

The Chief Minister will reach the state-level program to be organized in Badrukhan, Sangrur after 11 am. Security arrangements have been tightened before his arrival. Special care is being taken that no one protests near the venue. It is worth noting that for the past few days, CM Mann has been organizing his programs in Chandigarh and Jalandhar due to the by-election in Jalandhar West.
