Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will be in Chandigarh today on Monday. In the afternoon, he will meet the media on several issues. Before this, CM Saini had a meeting with more than 15 Sarpanchs from Lehra Assembly constituency of Sangrur district of Punjab at the CM residence on Sunday. After meeting the Chief Minister, all the Sarpanchs praised his simplicity.
During the meeting, all the Sarpanches placed their demands before the Chief Minister, which the Chief Minister heard and assured to fulfill.
Sarpanch said- Punjab should also get a CM like Saini
After meeting the CM, the Sarpanches said that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini listened to all our points and issues carefully, whereas our Chief Minister is unable to give time to meet us due to his busy schedule.
We have come from another state i.e. Punjab, yet we have been given so much respect. We wish that Punjab also gets a Chief Minister like Nayab Singh Saini.
Praised the Panchayat Fund of Haryana
While praising the Chief Minister and the Haryana Government, the Sarpanches said that the Haryana Government has given complete freedom to the Panchayats to carry out development works and has not allowed any shortage of funds whereas the Punjab Government did not even give Rs. 10 to the Panchayats. All the Sarpanchs also invited Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to visit Punjab.
