Collision between milk tanker and car in Ludhiana, 3 injured

According to the information, the accident took place near village Gagra.

A major road accident took place on Punjab’s Ludhiana-Ferozepur highway late on Tuesday night. A Bolero full of milk going from Jagraon to Ludhiana and a car coming from the opposite direction collided heavily. Three people were seriously injured in the accident. On receiving information about the case, the police reached the spot and started investigation on the basis of the complaint and removed both the vehicles from the road with the help of a crane.

Milk filled in the vehicle spilled on the road

According to the information, the accident took place near village Gagra. The collision was so severe that the front part of the car was badly damaged. The milk-filled in the Bolero spilled on the road. Two women and a man in the car were seriously injured in the accident. The injured have been identified as Deepika, Ravi Verma of Talwadi Bhaika and Binderjit Kaur of Jalandhar. With the help of passersby, the injured were immediately taken to the hospital.

Doctor referred to Ludhiana

Seeing their critical condition, the doctors referred them to Ludhiana. After the accident, there was a jam on the highway. The police reached the spot and removed both the vehicles from the roadside with the help of a crane. After this the traffic was restored. Police is investigating the matter.
