New Delhi: For the assembly elections to be held on February 5 in Delhi, Gurdaspur MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has been given a big responsibility by the Congress. He has been made in-charge of seven assembly constituencies.
These assembly constituencies include Kalka, New Delhi, Malviya Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi Cantt, Rajouri Gorder and Hari Nagar. The number of Punjab voters is high here.
Three leaders of Punjab are star campaigners of Congress
Earlier, on January 17, the Congress had released a list of its 40 star campaigners. In which only three leaders of Punjab were included. In which Randhawa’s name was not included.
These leaders included former Punjab CM and Jalandhar MP Charanjit Singh Channi, Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and Sukhpal Singh Khaira. While neighbouring state Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Haryana MPs Kumari Selja, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Deepender Singh Hooda are included.
Punjab CM and ministers among AAP’s star campaigners
If we talk about Punjab leaders in the list of star campaigners of Aam Aadmi Party for Delhi Assembly elections, then the first name is of CM Bhagwant Mann. After him are Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, Harbhajan Singh, Gurmeet Singh Meet Heir, Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Malvinder Singh, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, Aman Arora, Harjot Bains, Harbhajan Singh ETO, Dr. Balbir, Laljit Singh Bhullar, Taranpreet Singh Sondh, Dr. Ravjot Singh, Hardeep Mundia, Baljinder Kaur and Sherry Kalsi.
