Chandigarh: Congress workers in Chandigarh are protesting against the central government over rising inflation. Congress workers want to march towards the Sector 33 Kamalam BJP headquarters while demonstrating against the BJP. But lathi charge was done and water was sprayed to stop the Congress workers. During this, the police have also detained the Congress workers.
Youth Congress president Deepak Lubana and vice president Sachin Galav have both been taken into custody by the police and taken to Sector 36 police station.
Demonstrating on 3 issues
Congressmen say that today Congress and Youth Congress are taking out a protest march towards BJP’s Kamalam office on three major issues. They say that the first issue is inflation in Chandigarh, the second issue is about ownership rights and the third issue is the Indians brought from abroad in handcuffs and deported. Congress’s HS Lucky, Gurpreet Gabi, Jasbir Singh Bunty and Taruna Mehta will march from Sector 35 Congress Bhawan to Sector 33 Kamalam on these three issues.
BJP said- frustration of defeat
BJP Chandigarh says that yesterday i.e. on Saturday, in the Delhi elections, while the Aam Aadmi Party suffered a crushing defeat, the Congress could not even open its account. Even after three elections, the Congress has not been able to leave any impact on the people of Delhi. The Congress has no issue left, so now they have made inflation their shield.
