A couple riding a motorcycle died in a collision between a truck and a motorcycle near Adda Milewan on the Mukerian-Pathankot National Highway. The deceased have been identified as Amarjit Singh (27) and his daughter-in-law, Ramanjit Kaur (25).
The parents of the deceased said that their son, Amarjit Singh (27) and daughter-in-law, Ramanjit Kaur (25), were going to Ludhiana from their village on their motorcycle for the Akhand Path of their relatives. They said that this painful accident took place near Adda Milewan on the Mukerian-Pathankot Highway.
The parents of the deceased said that their son’s son had gotten married about a year ago. They said that Amarjit was their only son, and they have three daughters. According to the information received, it has been learned that Amarjit died on the spot, and his wife was taken to Mukerian Civil Hospital, but she also died in the hospital.
