Jalandhar: In a major blow to International Narcotic Network, the Commissionerate of Police Jalandhar busted an international drug cartel. Police has arrested three people along with recovery of 5 kg opium. The information has been shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav. The drug cartel was backed by multiple smugglers using International Courier Service to target recipients in UK, USA, Canada and Australia.
FIR has been registered under NDPS act. Investigations are going on to establish backward & forward linkages .
