The hunger strike of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal on the Khanauri border of Punjab and Haryana has entered its 77th day today (10 February). But for the last 7 days, he has been on hunger strike without medical facilities. Most of his veins are blocked, due to which doctors are facing difficulty in providing him medical facilities.
On the other hand, the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) invited Shambhu and Khanauri Morcha for a meeting in Chandigarh on February 12. On this issue too, the farmers will clarify their position by holding a press conference at Shambhu Morcha today.
At the same time, Dallewal will give a two-minute message to the public from the Mahapanchayat to be held in Khanauri on February 12. He will also clarify whether he will attend the meeting to be held on February 14 or not.
Veins are getting blocked in 48 to 72 hours
Farmer leader Abhimanyu Kohad said that Jagjit Singh Dallewal is on a continuous hunger strike. Due to this, his body has become weak. Doctors are unable to find the veins where the drip can be inserted.
Due to this, the place of the drip has to be changed. There is no place in both hands where drip can be applied. Doctors also tried to put drips in the legs, but they were not successful in it.
Farmer leader Kaka Singh Kotra said that the Morcha has been going on since February 13 last year. The Morcha has organized programs many times. On January 4, the Morcha held a big Mahapanchayat. A lot of people had gathered there. After this, Dallewal has once again expressed his wish that the Morcha is going to complete one year.
In such a situation, before the meeting with the government, all the people should unite. Farmers should show their strength. He has called upon the youth, elderly, women and people of the whole country to gather there, so that pressure can be put on the government.
