SAS Nagar: Damandeep Kaur, an officer of the Punjab Civil Services 2014 batch, took charge yesterday evening as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) Sub Division.
She said that as per the guidelines of Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, working for the welfare of common people will be her priority so that no one has to wait for the disposal of files/works.
She further said that the benefits of welfare schemes and flagship programs will be ensured to all eligible people. She said that any person belonging to Mohali subdivision can reach out to the subdivision office and can contact their office so that they can help them to solve the problem.
Sh was previously Additional Chief Administrator (Policy and Headquarters), Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) before taking charge of SDM Amritsar-1 & 2. She has also rendered her services as Joint Commissioner MC Mohali, Chief Manager Markfed and SDM Mohali.
