Khanna: In a shocking incident, a bank was robbed in broad daylight in Khanna. As per the initial information, a branch of the Punjab & Sindh Bank in Bagli Kalan village was robbed.
Three masked youths came on a motorcycle and stormed inside when it was lunch break in the bank.
Around 2:30 PM all three went into the bank and held the bank staff hostage at gunpoint. They looted about 15 lakh rupees from the bank and fled. While leaving, they robbers even attacked the bank’s gunman.
The robbers ran away with the gunman’s gun and opened fire.
Police after getting the information reached the spot and initiated the investigation.
