Amritsar: In Amritsar, on Wednesday afternoon, 25 lakh rupees were looted by taking the employees hostage in a private bank. Five robbers entered the bank waving arms and took away the money from the strong room. The miscreants carried out the entire incident in just 3 minutes. While leaving, the accused also took away the laptops and DVRs of the bank employees. The police is currently searching for CCTV cameras and information about the accused is being found.
During broad daylight, some robbers entered HDFC Bank located near village Kathunangal in Amritsar in a filmy style. At that time it was working time, so some people had come to deposit money inside the bank. The robbers took the employee and the guard who were cleaning outside the bank inside with them. After that they closed the shutter and snatched the phones of all the people present there.
A miscreant pointed a gun at the head of the bank cashier woman and took all the cash from her. They also snatched the money of the people who had come to deposit cash there and fled away within a few minutes.
Five miscreants entered the bank, out of which three had rifles. After coming out, the accused threw everyone’s phones there, due to which many people’s phones got damaged. After that the police were informed by the bank employees.
According to the police who reached the spot, the thieves also took away the bank’s DVR. At present, the nearby cameras are being searched and soon the accused will be caught. According to the police, about 25 lakh rupees have been looted from the bank.
