Chandigarh: 4 Sikh leaders of BJP in Punjab have received death threat letters. The letter has been sent to the Chandigarh office of BJP. Some inflammable material has also been sent along with the letter.
The letter warns BJP leaders to either leave BJP or leave the world. Slogans of Khalistan and Pakistan Zindabad have been written in the letter.
The leaders who have received the threat include BJP National General Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa, BJP Sikh Coordination Committee and National Railway Committee member Tejinder Singh Saran and BJP General Secretary Parminder Brar. Apart from this, BJP State Organization General Secretary Srinivasulu is also named in it.
After receiving the threatening letter, BJP leaders have complained about this to the Chandigarh Police. After which the police has sent the material found in the letter for investigation.
Tejinder Singh Saran said that today he is going to meet the DGP of Punjab and Chandigarh in this matter.
What’s written in the letter
It is written in the letter that you are deceiving the Sikhs and the people of Punjab in collaboration with BJP and RSS. You are interfering in Sikh matters with RSS, we had warned you earlier also. You either leave BJP or we will remove you from this world.
It is also written in the letter that you worked to break the farmers’ movement in collaboration with BJP. You are a traitor of Sikhism. You are misleading the people of Punjab with the help of BJP-RSS and are planning to ask people to join BJP.
You are working to spoil the relationship between Sikhs and Muslims, BJP and RSS will throw you out after using you. Many people came to destroy Sikhs and Punjab and were chased away. Neither Sikhs could be finished nor Punjab.
Further written that, We know that you are conspiring against us sitting in Chandigarh and we will soon take revenge for this. Manjinder Sirsa also speaks the language of RSS, we will teach him a lesson too. Manjinder Sirsa handed over Delhi SGPC to BJP RSS.
We will never leave him. We will soon free the Gurudwaras of Delhi DSGMC from BJP. Many traitors like you have killed our brothers in Canada, Pakistan and India in connivance with the BJP government and we will take revenge for this.
Senior Deputy Mayor had received threats
Chandigarh BJP leader and Senior Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation Kuljit Singh Sandhu had also received some threats in the past. On May 22, some youths came outside his house and threatened him at night. He had complained about this to Chandigarh Police, but no action has been taken by the police. Sandhu says that he will once again meet the senior officers of Chandigarh Police in this matter and will demand action on the threat he received.
Chandigarh SHO said – will investigate if a complaint comes
SHO of Sector-39 police station of Chandigarh, Chiranji Lal said that till now he does not have any complaint in this regard. He must have complained to the higher officials. As soon as the complaint reaches them, action will be taken on it.
