Tragic news has been received from Villape Shahpur Kalan where a farmer hanged himself after being debt ridde, As per information, Saun Khan, son of Kapoor Khan, a resident of village Shahpur Kalan, committed suicide after getting stressed due to debt.
Giving information, Lakhi Sarpanch, Panchayat members Sandeep Singh and Birbal Singh have said that Saun Khan’s wife was suffering from cancer for some years and she died last month. Now the farmer himself who was struggling with the debt ended his life. He is survived by two children, a boy and girl.
The panchayat members said that Saun Khan belonged to simple farmer family. He had started suffering from debt and ended his life by hanging himself a month later after his wife’s deathhe struggled to cope with the large debt.
The entire village and Panchayat have demanded financial help from the government for the victim’s family as he is survived by two children. Action is being taken by the police of Thana Cheema.
