Chandigarh: The joy of BJP’s big victory in Delhi elections is clearly visible in Chandigarh. Due to which BJP leaders are seen congratulating each other across the city. The big leaders are not saying anything about this right now but they have organized a program at 4 pm in Kamalam BJP headquarters to celebrate this victory. In which apart from all the party workers and big leaders, media has also been asked to come.
These BJP people will reach the party office today:
Arun Sood, Harpreet Kaur Babla (Mayor), Sanjay Tandon, Jatinderpal Malhotra, Dhirendra Tahil, Kailash Jain, spokesperson Naresh Arora Kamalam will reach to celebrate the victory.
Party spokesperson Arora said that Parvesh Verma, Manjinder Sirsa, Arvinder Lovely, Kapil Mishra and all the honourable people who have won in Delhi have set an example of how people wanted a change.
These elections in Delhi will be important for BJP
The victory of BJP in Delhi elections holds special significance for them. AAP’s Atishi has won from Kalkaji constituency, while former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia lost in Jangpura. Most exit polls had predicted victory for BJP and its allies. Delhi Assembly elections saw 60.54 per cent polling in the first phase on February 5.
The BJP seems to be gaining advantage during the election campaign on issues like pollution in Yamuna river, liquor policy cases against Kejriwal and Sisodia, and huge amount spent on renovation of Kejriwal’s chief minister residence during the Covid-19 pandemic.
