Jalandhar: Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal today paid obeisance at the local Sri Guru Ravidas Bhawan, Urban Estate Phase-2 on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji and also prayed for the progress and prosperity of the district residents.
His father JR Sarangal was also present along with the Deputy Commissioner.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner asked the devotees to adopt the teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji in their lives. He said that Guru ji’s entire life is a source of inspiration, by taking guidance from him we can find the way for ourselves and others to move forward in life.
He said that Sri Guru Ravidas Ji was a great spiritual guru and the messiah of the poor, weak and helpless classes, who has given the message of welfare of entire humanity and equality of all classes.
He asked the devotees to contribute in building an ideal society with equality by following the path shown by Shri Guru Ravidas Ji.
