Chandigarh: Today in Punjab, the Congress party is holding state-level protests against the state government. Protests have started in all the districts under leadership of senior congress leaders. During this, the government is surrounded on many issues including the deteriorating law and order of the state. All the MLAs, former MLAs, MPs, and leaders have participated in the protest. The protests across Punjab were held under the directions of party chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring.
Gathered outside DSP office in Mohali
Congress workers gathered outside the DSP office in Sector-79 in Mohali. This protest was led by former Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu. He said that the law and order situation in the district is getting worse. Singers and artists are getting ransom calls. He also added that the attitude of the officers is also not right in tackling the situation.
Protest in Raikot, Tarn Taran
In Raikot, a team of Congress workers and officials protested against the Aam Aadmi Party government.
In Tarn Taran also, a group of Congress workers and officials protested against the Aam Aadmi Party government. Congress leaders said that looting and murders are happening continuously in the district and police is not able to control them. Attacking that government of state is falling at all front, Congress demanded the restoration of Law.
