DGP Gaurav Yadav’s surprise inspection in Jalandhar, took stock of works at Rama Mandi police station

Jalandhar: Today, the DGP of the state Gaurav Yadav reached the Rama Mandi police station in Jalandhar, Punjab, and held a surprise checking. During this, he talked to the police personnel present in the police station and got information from them about the cases going on inside the police station. DGP Gaurav Yadav ordered the officers present in the police station that no laxity should be shown in the action.

Let us tell you that when the information of DGP Gaurav Yadav’s arrival in Jalandhar was received this morning, the police officers in the entire district became alert. When DGP Gaurav Yadav reached the police station amid tight security, many officers including Jalandhar Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma, JCP Sandeep Sharma, DCP Aditya, ACP Nirmal Singh were present there. The DGP spent about half an hour in the police station where he also talked to the people being dealt with by the police.

DGP Gaurav Yadav was in Ludhiana day before. He held a meeting with the industrialists and took feedback from them and talked about controlling crime in the future. DGP Gaurav Yadav had said that soon 10 thousand new police recruitments are going to take place in Punjab. In response to a question in Ludhiana, the DGP said that 14 new PCR vehicles have been dispatched and in the coming time vehicles will be given to various districts of Punjab.
