Jalandhar : Late Saturday night, a customer created a ruckus at the famous Bittu Pardesi restaurant located in Model Town, Jalandhar. The customer has alleged that he had taken Bhalla Chaat from Bittu Pardesi restaurant. When he went home, he found dead lizard in sweet chutney given with the chaat.
Let us tell you that the victim had gone home with two plates of chaat, when he gave them to the children to eat, they said that there was a lizard in it, after which he returned to the shop and the nearby shopkeepers started arguing and the restaurant owner closed the restaurant and left from there. At present the statement of the private restaurant has not come out on this.
Giving more information about this, the victim Vishant Malik said that he had taken two plates of chaat from here and when he went home and gave it to the children, they said that there was a lizard in it, after which ‘I immediately came back here, he started arguing with me and nearby shopkeepers also gathered and later he closed the shop and left from here.’
He said “I did not come here to get a refund, I just came to complain but they did not listen to me”.
