Hoshirapur Civil Supplies Department today raided all the shops in the city. Dozens of gas cylinders were seized from those who were using domestic cylinders commercially.
The officials of the department domestic cylinders used commercially and issued notices to the shopkeepers and further Higher authorities have been informed for the appropriate action
Civil Supply Department in Hoshiarpur has been receiving complaints regarding the issue. Today a team from the department visited all the shops in the city. While raiding dhabas and shops, the department today recovered more than a dozen domestic gas cylinders.
On this occasion, the officials said that they were receiving some complaints and they should form a team. When the shops were checked, many shops were found using domestic cylinders. The same were confiscated by the department on the spot and a notice was issued to the shopkeepers.
The official said that this campaign will continue in the future so that no one uses a domestic cylinder for commercial purpose.
