Jalandhar, May 11: Authorities in Jalandhar have confirmed that the situation in the district remains completely normal, following concerns circulating on social media and elsewhere. According to the district Commissioner, there is no cause for alarm, and all activites may continue as usual.
Security forces remain on high alert as a precautionary measure. In a public advisory, the administration has requested to refrain from bursting firecrackers, flying drones, or spreading unverified information on social media platforms.
“Strict action may be taken against those who engage in such activities,” said the DC.
Officials assured the public that any threat would be promptly communicated and dealt with effectively. The administration has thanked the public for their continued cooperation and calm.
