Elderly man in critical condition after train collision in Abohar; Transferred to Faridkot for treatment, identity unknown

Abohar: An elderly man was badly injured after being hit by a train at Panchkosi railway station in Abohar on Friday afternoon. He was admitted to a government hospital for treatment. When his condition became critical, he was referred to Faridkot. An elderly man, whose age is said to be around 60 years, was hit.

An elderly man, whose age is said to be around 60 years, was hit by a train near Panjkosi railway station. On receiving this information, the GRP police team reached the spot and informed the members of Nar Seva Narayan Seva Samiti, on which Monu Grover and Bittu Narula of the committee reached the spot.

The injured was immediately admitted to a government hospital for treatment. The committee members said that the elderly man was wearing a white kurta pyjama and bus tickets of villages like Sri Ganganagar, Kalarkheda, Maujugarh etc. were found in his pocket; apart from this, he could not be identified. He is being referred after first aid as he has suffered serious injuries on his body due to being hit by the train.
