Elderly NRI from Canada dies under suspicious circumstances in Ludhiana

At present, the body has been kept in the civil hospital for postmortem.

Ludhiana: A 58-year-old man died under suspicious circumstances at Omaxe Residency in Ludhiana at around 10:45 pm. The deceased person fell from the 13th floor. He suffered a head injury, due to which he died on the spot. People living in Omaxe Residency also gathered to see the blood-soaked body.

People immediately tried to give treatment to the person, but eventually he died. The name of the deceased is Sindar Singh. People immediately informed the police. Police from Sadar police station and Lalton outpost reached the spot.

According to the information, Sindar is originally from village Shahzada. He has been living with his family in Canada for a long time. He came to India only 3 days ago and stayed in a flat in Omaxe Residency. People living nearby told the police that Sindar was of good nature. The reason for his death is not yet known. Investigating officer Kulbir Singh said that the police is also investigating the CCTV cameras installed in Omaxe Residency.

Sindhar’s brother Shahzada lives in the village and he has been informed about the incident. At present, the body has been kept in the civil hospital for postmortem. The body will be handed over to the family members after their arrival.
