Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has demanded the Election Commission to investigate the allegations of AAP leaders threatening MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and MLA Sheetal Angural and offering Rs 25 crore to MLAs.

Chandigarh : Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has demanded the Election Commission to investigate the allegations of AAP leaders threatening MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and MLA Sheetal Angural and offering Rs 25 crore to MLAs.

Jakhar said that the truth should come out about who offered the money and who received the money. He said that the strict honesty of Arvind Kejriwal has been exposed.

Talking to reporters, Jakhar said that Punjab’s resources were looted openly in the excise scam and then the guava plantation scam and no one involved would be spared.

He said that in various meetings with the core committee and district in-charges and other leaders, it was decided to convey the message of development made by the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to every home. He urged every worker to contribute fully to the party during the next two months so that the BJP can win all the seats.

Criticizing the foul language used by AAP leaders after Rinku and Angural joined BJP, Jakhar said that the joining of these leaders in BJP is an expression of faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and command, BJP’s development agenda.

He said that all the leaders are fed up with AAP’s leadership and more people will leave AAP in the coming days. In Jakhar’s presence, Rakesh Kumar, the candidate of Akali Dal (Badal) in 2022 from Bhoa Vidhan Sabha, joined the BJP along with his supporters. District Pathankot BJP president Vijay Sharma was also present with him on this occasion. Many leaders of different parties joined the BJP on this occasion.
