Police have encountered Ludhiana’s A-category gangster Lavish Grover in Shiva Enclave of Zirakpur, Punjab. The injured gangster has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. According to SP Rural Manpreet Singh, Lavish is a resident of Ludhiana and was living in a rented flat in Zirakpur.
More than 10 criminal cases, including murder, robbery, and Arms Act are registered against the accused. According to SP Manpreet Singh, the police had received secret information about Lavish hiding in Shiva Enclave. After that, the special team surrounded the area.
As per police, when the door of the flat was knocked on, Lavish was shocked to see the police. He picked up the pistol and fired three bullets at the police. In response, the police also fired cautiously, which hit Lavish’s leg. Due to this, Grover was injured, and he was caught on the spot.
The police searched him, from which three illegal weapons and a huge amount of narcotics were recovered. Initial investigation has revealed that Grover was actively involved in murder, robbery, extortion and drug trafficking. He had reached Zirakpur to commit a crime. After interrogation, information about the crime will also be obtained.

Grover was immediately admitted to the hospital after being injured in the encounter, where his treatment is going on. According to the police officer, many more big revelations are likely to be made after interrogation. Lavish Grover’s name has been involved in many serious crimes in Punjab and Haryana. According to the police, he was active in the world of crime for a long time and was absconding by dodging the police.
