On the basis of Anmol’s information, the police will take action against the shopkeeper today. The shopkeeper gave the uniform to the accused without any investigation. Today the police will also take strict action against the shop from where he got the ID card printed and typed.
Giving information, SHO Jodhewal Basti Gurdayal Singh said that Anmol has been interrogated in which he made many revealations. Investigation is also being done from the accused’s mobile.
Person impersonating as Sub Inspector arrested
The police of Thana Basti Jodhewal arrested the accused Anmol from outside Vanjali Hotel. Anmol used to extort money in the name of police from people running medical stores, gas cylinder refill shops and lottery shops in different areas of the city.
During checking, police recovered Innova car PB07BW-8742 from the accused. Police have recovered uniform, fake ID card and mobile from the accused.
