Shambhu : Due to farmer’s agitation, 22 trains including Jan Shatabdi Express and Shan-e-Punjab will remain canceled for two more days. This information has been given by the Railways.
All these trains will remain canceled even after two days in the coming days because till now neither the farmers have agreed to lift the protest from Shambhu railway station nor the government has agreed to talk about their demands.
Passengers are facing inconvenience
This is the reason that in this ongoing battle between the government and the farmers, passengers are facing difficulties due to train cancellations and diversions for about a month.
The cancelled trains include Shan-e-Punjab Express 12497-98, Amritsar-Haridwar Janashtabdi Express 12053-54, New Delhi-Jalandhar City 14681-82, Amritsar Intercity Express 12459-60.
Amarpali Express 15707 delay for seven hours, Amritsar Sarwan Shatabdi Express 12029 five hours, Jammu-Tawi Express 18309, Western Express 12925, Amrits Jallianwala Bagh Express 12379 two hours, Jammu-Tawi Express 18101 one and a half hours, Indore Express 19325 one and a half hours, Golden Temple Mail 12903, Amritsar Express 11057one hour.
Due to this, the passengers badly suffer.
