According to the information received, Kulwinder Singh Machhiana, President of Kisan Union Ekta Sindhupur, has been detained in his own house by the police of Thana Sadar.

This action was taken on Wednesday night itself. This was done so that the farmers could not disturb the PM’s security in any way.

Similarly, trade union workers have also been put under police surveillance by knocking on their doors. Farmer leader Kulwinder Singh Machhiana said that the AAP government of Punjab is locking the farmers in their homes on the instructions of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

It is clear from this that the central government is very scared and the police is torturing the farmers instead of accepting their demands. He said that Prime Minister Modi was also detained during his visit to Jalandhar.
