Fazilka Police has succeeded in arresting a mother and son along with narcotics. A case has been registered against both of them and the police has started further action.
According to the information received, the arrested accused mother and son are residents of Nurshah village in Fazilka. 262 narcotic tablets and capsules have been recovered from their possession. The police said that the accused will be produced in court and taken on police remand, where they will be further questioned.
Sadar Police Station In-charge SHO Hardev Singh Bedi informed that the police party had received a confidential information. After which the police took immediate action and tried to stop the mother and son who were present near the canal track in Nurshah village.
However they started running away. The police caught them, and during the search, about 262 narcotic tablets were recovered from them. The arrested accused have been identified as Jaswant Singh and Shilo Bai. A case has been registered against both of them, and an investigation has been initiated.
