Cases of shooting are coming to light every day in Jandiala Guru, Amritsar. Miscreants are continuously committing incidents of shooting, whether they are related to drugs or robberies, without any fear of the police administration in the minds of the youth. Late at night, a youth was riding a bike with his two friends and on the way someone shot him from behind and killed a youth.
The name of the deceased youth is being told as Manpreet. While talking to the media, the victim’s family said that their son had gone with his friends for some work and we came to know that he was shot from behind and killed. The victim’s family has demanded justice from the police administration.
On this occasion, DSP Ravinder Pal Singh of Jandiala Guru police station while talking to the media said that we had received information that a youth named Manpreet was riding a motorcycle with his two companions and someone from behind shot him, due to which he died on the spot.
He said that police are investigating and the CCTV cameras around are also being examined. At present, the body is being taken into custody and sent for postmortem.
