Chandigarh: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, today former MP from Patiala, Dharamvir Gandhi is going to join Congress. It should be noted that in 2014, Dharamvir Gandhi won the Lok Sabha elections from Patiala on Aam Aadmi Party ticket.
Later after issues with AAP, Dharamveer Gandhi moved away from AAP. Dharamveer Gandhi will join Congress at 12 noon in Delhi on Monday. Dharamvir Gandhi had defeated Patiala MP Preneet Kaur in 2014.
It is expected that Congress can field Gandhi once again from Patiala. If this happens then Gandhi will be once again in front of MP Preneet Kaur. In 2014, Dharamveer Gandhi contested from AAP’s ticket and won by a margin of over 20,000 votes
