Former CM Charanjit Singh Channi visits Jalandhar to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr amid speculations of nomination

In Jalandhar, former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi reached Eidgah Mosque among the Muslim community people to celebrate the festival of Eid Ul Fitr and offered Namaz together and greeted each other.

Jalandhar: The festival of Eid ul Fitr is being celebrated with great pomp in the country and the world. In Punjab also, Muslim community people offered Namaz on the occasion of Eid Ul Fitr. In Jalandhar, former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi reached Eidgah Mosque among the Muslim community people to celebrate the festival of Eid Ul Fitr and offered Namaz together and greeted each other. After some time, BJP candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku also arrived and congratulated him on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said that he goes to Eidgah every year to celebrate Eid with the Muslim community and celebrates the day with each other by offering Ardaas.

Channi said that everyone should celebrate this festival with each other with joy. Channi said that Punjab is the land of Gurus and Prophets and the soil of this land has always taught loyalty.

Talking politically, he said that people who run away  and change parties as per their gain should be stopped. Targeting the opponents, Channi said that everyone should support only those whose character is clean and are not afraid of others.   

 When asked about Vikram Chaudhary’s displeasure and Chaudhary family’s distance from the party, Channi said that there is no such thing, only speculations are being made now. He said that whatever decision the party takes, it will be accepted by everyone.
