Former Kharar MLA Jagmohan Kang rejoins Congress

Former minister Jagmohan Singh Kang and his son Yadwinder Singh Kang, who were upset about not getting a ticket from Kharar in the 2022 assembly elections and joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) but now they rejoined Congress.

In the meantime, big news has come out that former minister Jagmohan Singh Kang and his son Yadwinder Singh Kang, who were upset about not getting a ticket from Kharar in the 2022 assembly elections and joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) but now they rejoined Congress.

He has joined the Congress in the presence of the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi. Party’s Punjab in-charge Devendra Yadav was also present on this occasion.

Kang (Jagmohan Kang) has good influence in Kharar assembly constituency. Even though ‘AAP’ did not entrust him with a big responsibility.

Political career of Jagmohan Kang

Former MLA from Kharar, Jagmohan Kang has returned to the Congress. Before the 2022 elections, he got angry with the Congress and joined AAP. Kang has been MLA from Morinda and Kharar. Kang was a cabinet minister in Amarinder Singh’s government in 2002.

It is to be noted that in 2022 when the assembly elections were held, the Congress party had rejected the ticket of Jagmohan Kang from Kharar. Apart from this, Ropar-based liquor businessman Vijay Sharma Tinku has been made a candidate from Kharar.

At that time, Kang had alleged that former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi had misled the High Command and got his ticket canceled as he was senior to him.
