Chandigarh: After the statements made by BJP MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, now the demand for action has started rising in Punjab. After the farmers, the leaders of the opposition parties demanded an FIR against Kangana. Senior Congress leader and former minister Dr. Raj Kumar Verka has demanded NSA against Kangana.
Former minister Raj Kumar Verka issued a video message and said that Kangana Ranaut spewed venom against the leaders of Punjab every day. He said, “Today Kangana Ranaut said, farmers are Khalistani. She abused the farmers of the country. She said that murders and rapes took place amid the farmers’ movement. Kangana Ranaut is speaking at someone’s instigation. BJP should give clarification for this.”
Verka further added that she is an elected MP of BJP and not an ordinary artist. Verka demanded clarification from Kangana on her recent statements.
Verka further said, “I demand from Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann that an inquiry should be conducted against her and an FIR should be registered. An FIR should be filed against her under the sections of the National Security Act (NSA) and she should be sent to Dibrugarh jail.”
Actress and MP Kangana Ranaut said that if our top leadership was not strong, Punjab would have also been turned into Bangladesh during the farmers’ movement. Kangana said that in the name of farmers’ movement in Punjab, miscreants were spreading violence. Rapes and murders were taking place there. The farmers bill was withdrawn or else these miscreants had a very long plan. They could do anything in the country.
SGPC has also demanded FIR
SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami issued a press release alleging that the film ‘Emergency’, which wrongly portrays the character of Sikhs, should be banned immediately. This film is made by actress Kangana Ranaut, who is in controversy due to anti-Sikh and anti-Punjab terminology, with the intention of deliberately defaming the Sikhs.
