Ravneet Singh Bittu assumes charge as Minister of State for Railways

Bittu said that work will be done to improve rail services by working jointly with Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav.

New Delhi: Former Punjab MP and BJP candidate from Ludhiana during these Lok Sabha elections 2024, Ravneet Singh Bittu, took over as Minister of State for Railways in Delhi today. Ravneet Bittu took charge as MoS in the Raiul Bhawan, New Delhi today. At this occasion, Jaya Verma Sinha, Chairman and CEO railway board, AK Khandelwal, member infrastructure and other officials were present today.

Today on the joining day of Ravneet Bittu, family members including his wife, children and others were also present there.

Ravneet Bittu after assuming the charge said that he would make every possible effort to take the railways forward. Bittu further added that he extends gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for considering him capable of this huge responsibility. It should be noted that Ravneet Bittu, grandson of Former CM Beant Singh contested the election from Ludhiana on BJP’s ticket but lost to Congress Candidate and PPCC Chief Raja Warring.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today took charge of the Ministry of Railways. Bittu said that work will be done to improve rail services by working jointly with Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav. He said railways will be taken on the path of development by giving equal respect to everyone from class-4 employees to grade 1 officers.
