In Ramdaspur village, near Garhdiwala, news has been received that the younger brother brutally murdered his elder brother with a sharp weapon.
According to the information received in this regard, Manjot Singh, son of Balwinder Singh, resident of Ramdaspur, was brutally murdered by his younger brother Manpreet Singh last night.
After that, the alleged accused told the village sarpanch Shaminder Singh on phone that some men have entered their house following which The Sarpanch immediately informed the Garhdiwala police.
The lights of the house were off and the gate outside the house was locked. When the police went inside the room, Manjot Singh was found dead by a sharp attack on his neck with a sharp weapon.
Deceased Manjot Singh’s Father had died a long time ago. Both brothers were living with their Grandmother Naranjan Kaur.
After learning of the murder incident, DSP Tanda Harjeet Singh Randhawa, and SHO Inspector Hardevpreet Singh visited the spot. After reaching the spot police took stock of the situation and further action was initiated.
