At the same time, in this press conference, he has made serious allegations against SGPC Vice President Raghujit Singh Virk.

Raghujit Singh Virk accused of scam

Giani Harpreet Singh said that if SGPC is talking about conducting an investigation, then first of all Raghujit Singh Virk should be investigated, who has committed scams worth crores of rupees in Saragarhi Sarai and Langar Hall. Giani Harpreet Singh also alleged that Raghujit Singh Virk played an important role in the formation of Haryana Gurudwara Management Committee. He sarcastically said that Haryana Gurudwara Management Committee should install the statue of Raghujit Singh Virk in Kurukshetra.

Demand to make rules in SGPC

He said that former Jathedar Vedanti ji had also suggested in writing to SGPC during his tenure that rules should be made for the appointment and termination of service of Singh Sahibans. Giani Harpreet Singh had also sent reminders to SGPC on this issue during his tenure.

On the resignation of the SGPC chief and the seven-member committee, he said that this should not have been done. He said that the service that Akal Takht Sahib had entrusted to them should have been carried out with full responsibility.
