Jalandhar: A grenade was thrown at the house of a hindu YouTuber in Raipur Rasulpur, Jalandhar, by a gang led by Pakistan Don Shehzad Bhatt. The attack, allegedly carried out due to derogatory comments made by the YouTuber against the Muslim Community, has heightened tensions in the region. Bhatti, in video message, took responsibility for the attack, claiming it was retaliation for the YouTuber’s insults to Islam, its holy sites, and prophets.
Bhatti also named Zeeshan Akhtar alias Jaissi Purewal, who is known for his involvement in previous criminal activities, and Khalistani terrorist Happy Pasia as accomplices in the assault. The attack, carried out by five individuals, has sparked fears of further violence, as Bhatti issued warning that any failure to arrest those responsible would result in continued retribution.
Despite the seriousness of the attack, local authorities, including the Jalandhar Rural Police, have not yet made an official statement on the incident. In his video Bhatti threatened the police, saying that if the individuals behind the derogatory comments were not arrested, he would continue with violent actions, stating that his group had detailed information of the perpetrators.
Bhatti’s remarks have raised concerns about the potential for escalating violence, with his threats of “destruction” if justice is not served.
The incident has drawn attention to the growing influence of International Criminal groups operating in the region and the potential for communal tensions to flare up further.
