Chandigarh: Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries of Punjab Gurmeet Singh Khudian handed over appointment letters to two junior scale stenographers and three steno-typists newly appointed in the state animal husbandry department at his office here today.

Welcoming the newly appointed employees in the department Gurmeet Singh Khudian encouraged them to perform their services with complete sincerity. He said that under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann Punjab government is committed to provide transparent and corruption-free governance to the people of the state.

He also wished the newly appointed employees all the best for their bright future.

Referring to the concrete efforts being made by the Punjab government to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state, Mr. Gurmeet Singh Khudian said that after assuming power in Punjab, the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has provided more than 42,000 jobs to the youth in various government departments within two years.

On this occasion, the Director Animal Husbandry Dr. Gursharan Jeet Singh Bedi and other officials of the department were also present.
