Cabinet Minister Aman Arora has posted on social media regarding this. In which he told the that the work of special Girdawari being done by the administration under the instructions given to assess the damage to crops due to hailstorm in the villages of Amritsar Sahib yesterday, should be completed by this evening. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the Punjab government are standing with the farmers in this difficult time.

The special Girdawari process of the district administration will be completed by this evening. Patwari, Tehsildar and other revenue officials are involved in this Girdawari. They are visiting each affected area and doing a detailed survey of crop damage.

Condition of farmers

Due to hailstorm, wheat, mustard, potato and other Rabi crops have suffered heavy losses. Many farmers have demanded from the administration that they should be given proper compensation so that they can compensate for their financial loss.

The administration has assured the farmers that after the survey, a report will be prepared and sent to the government and the affected farmers will be provided compensation soon.
