A young man from Haryana who had gone to celebrate Lohri in Ludhiana died of a heart attack. When the train reached the railway station at around 1 pm on Sunday, he got down from the train and walked only about 100 meters when he started feeling chest pain. He informed his friends about this.
After some time, he fainted. After this, he was immediately taken to a private clinic. From there, he was taken to the Civil Hospital, but the doctors declared him dead. The deceased has been identified as Chirag (24), a resident of Hansi, Haryana. The body of the deceased has been kept in the mortuary of the Civil Hospital. The body will be handed over to the family members.
Gurpreet Singh, a friend of the deceased Chirag, said that he is a resident of Dhuri. Chirag had come to Dhuri from Hansi with his aunt’s sons. This morning, when all the friends including Chirag came to Ludhiana.
As soon as they got down from the train at the railway station, Chirag, at some distance, said that he was having chest pain. He was given medicine but suddenly his pain started increasing. Due to this he became unconscious and fell on the ground. When he was brought to the civil hospital, the doctors said that Chirag had died.
