Two robbers arrested in Hoshiarpur

A pistol was pointed at the head of the fertilizer seller; 7 thousand and mobile were looted. 

Hoshiarpur: Hoshiarpur’s Dasuha police station has arrested two robbers who carried out a robbery at gunpoint. Police have recovered a motorcycle and cash, along with a pistol, from the arrested accused.

The accused have been identified as Kulwinder Singh, son of Avtar Singh, resident of Kakoy police station Dasuha, and Gagan Muhammad alias Gaggu alias Ali, son of Iqbal Muhammad, resident of Kallowal police station Dasuha.

Giving information, Deputy Police Captain Jagdish Raj, Police Station Chief Harprem Singh, and Station Incharge Jagdish Kumar said that 3 days ago Rahul’s son, Naseeb Singh, a resident of Bisso Chak police station Dasuha, told them that he had a shop of pesticide medicine and fertilizer in village Salohda police station Dasuha. Two unknown motorcycle riders parked their motorcycles and entered his shop. One of the miscreants took out a pistol and put it on his head, while the other came with a sword.

They looted 7,000 rupees and 1 mobile phone from the shop’s cash box and fled on a bike. In the above case, ASI Jagdish Kumar, in charge of the outpost Sansarpur Party, took both of them into custody for questioning. Both of them confessed to committing this crime. Now the police will take remand of both accused and investigate other crimes as well.
