A car driver from Hoshiarpur died in a road accident in Ludhiana. The driver was returning after dropping a passenger from the airport. Just then, a tipper was parked on the side of the road on the Ludhiana National Highway and the taxi rammed into it. The accident was so terrible that the car was badly damaged. The dead driver has been identified as Harjot Singh.
Harjot got married just 1 year ago. His parents are also elderly. Harjot was the only earning member in the family
The passenger, Harjinder Singh told the police of Thana Daresi that he was going back in a taxi after dropping his brother Harbhajan Singh at the Delhi airport. As soon as driver Harjot Singh reached near GT Road Basti Jodhewal, a tipper PB-10-ES-9739 was parked on the road in the wrong way.
The taxi rammed into it and driver Harjot Singh died on the spot. He himself has sustained head injuries. Harjinder Singh’s ribs were broken in the accident and he has been admitted to a private hospital in Dasuha. Today, Harjot Singh’s postmortem was conducted, and his body was handed over to his family.
