In a tragic incident, three people of a family died after a room of their house collapsed. As per information, three people died and three others were seriously injured when the roof of a two-storey house collapsed. The tragic incident occurred in Mohalla Ayyapur of Tanda, Hoshiarpur at 5:30 am today.
According to information, migrant laborer Shankar Mandal lived in this house with his 4 daughters and wife. Shankar Mandal worked as a laborer. Today, at around 5:30 am, the entire house suddenly collapsed, in which the entire family got buried. Three members of the family died after being trapped under debris,s while others were rushed to the hospital for treatment in injured condition.
Residents of the neighborhood immediately helped the family and pulled people out of the rubble. Shankar Mandal and his 2 daughters, Shivani and Pooja, died in this accident. Shankar Mandal’s wife and 2 other daughters were taken to the Tanda government hospital in critical condition.
