Hoshiarpur: In a bid to make the city plastic-free, Today in Hoshiarpur, the team of the Punjab Pollution Control Board along with the Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur launched a campaign against polythene.
The Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr Amandeep Kaur herself came to the market and raided the shops.
The team of the corporation along with the team of the Pollution Control Board confiscated non-permissible polythene from the shops. They motivated people to use paper or clothe bags in order to protect the environment.
