A horrific collision took place between a scooter and a motorcycle at Adda Siprian on the Dasuha Hajipur main road in Hoshiarpur, in which a youth died on the spot. According to information, the deceased youth, Akashdeep Virk, son of Surjit Singh, a resident of village Singhpur, had gone to Hajipur for some work.
While he was returning, he collided with a scooter carrying girls from the village of Singhowal to Adda Siprian. Akashdeep suffered serious head injuries in this accident, due to which he died on the spot.
The girls riding the scooter also suffered serious injuries in this accident and are undergoing treatment at the government hospital in Mukerian. CCTV footage of this accident has also come to light.
Hajipur police have reached the accident site and are investigating. The deceased Akashdeep was the only brother of three sisters. There is a wave of mourning in the entire village due to Akashdeep’s death.
